Plague...

So in my current roman campaing i finally managed to get Rome, but what i didn't noticed it was that it had the PLAGUE!

So now my best general and emperor is plagued, i already lost my best spy and a good priest, so im afraid to lose him as well...

Question is, how much time till the plague is gone?

And what are the chances for my emeperor to die? Will he have more chances if he gets out of the settlement?

Mind you, I have built every single building possible that has health bonus, on a large city (large stone walls city), including the baths wich gave a nice boost, but still the plague persists

Also, on a related note, how to remove it from a castle? It has only the chapel with its 5% health bonus, nothing more

The plague can not be removed or prevented by the player. It usually lasts 4-5 turns. Once you're plagued, it doesn't matter where you go. Generally, big or fast-growing cities tend to get it.
