No sounds in campaign or battle

Hello, I just downloaded and installed v2.0 and v2.1 patch. Everything looks to be working fine from what I've seen, even the music works fine in the main menu and in the intro videos.

However...There is no music on the campaign map or in the battles. Unfortunately, this takes away any atmosphere and makes the mod unplayable until I can get this fixed. Is this a known issue, and is there anything I can do to fix this? And no, I don't have the sound muted

Extra information is that I am running Windows 7 64 bit. Tell me if I need to give anything else.

I would be extremely grateful if I can be helped.

Oh, I also installed it simply by clicking on each part and following the install process to the SEGA/Medieval2 folder.

I've fixed it now

I've done what was suggested for Windows Vista users, by deleting the file mentioned here:

I Found it!!!
it is in
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files

Perhaps this should be mentioned in a support sticky?

when you find the Med II folder which folder/file do you delete?
