Default Guide: Extended Cultures' Economic Tour

Issued according to players' demand! XC's Tour Guide on Economy. I hope you enjoy it.

Updated: As I seem to have problem with attached files to forum for unknown reasons (have this problem for a while), I will use external link instead.

Updated 5/6/2018: Here is online Microsoft OneDrive version of the guide. But I would say that this guide would need a lot of update to catch up with XC5.

    Very nice!!!

Thank you very much for posting this. I was wondering about those building menu options for those trade paths and didnt think too much of them. It's nice to know they themselves develop, (as more are built)

    I do have a query.

When your listing the trade route strat map elements

    IE

    "Tin 4 Copper 2"

Are you referencing the number of resources on sea based provinces, or is the number value significant in another context. You didn't make it clear. Or maybe i'm just sleepy

    Rep btw.

It is trade value per piece of trade resource that appear on map in that province. Value that use in calculation of the provinces is = (number of that resource on the province) x (trade value of that resource).

You should use MS Word (or OpenOffice Writer) to open it, wordpad may work as well.

The various published guides will become part of the official XC manual which is in the works as XC4 comes closer to the official release.

I'm playing as Iberia, and I seem to have the Spice Route, rather than the Tin Trade. Did something change in the implementation ?

Ok. If you see it from building browser. It is building tree show up bug. Like case of Governing System building, your choice still right when you could build it.

I'm still looking for the way to made it right so.

OK, thanks, and for the fast reply....effectively just a description rather than a game-play bug. I should be able to build it in a few turns so I will see what I get.

Not sure is this is a bug or not. I will post here, and you can move it as required.

As Iberia, I have Saguntum which can build a trade route ( Spice not Tin, but still possible ). Howevre, I need regional pacification, and am not sure to to get there. I already have the Local Factional Government as Saguntum is part of base Iberia....advice, please ? ( Using latest Delta 1.03 )

You're all set as regional pacification is a lower level of government.

Actually, I think it is a bug

In the economic guide, Saguntum is not on the tin trade route, and I don't think it has the correct resources. Also, although I see the 'Spice Route' available, I don't have the trading post, or the ability to build it. In Lusitania/Oxtracana , I have both, so to test, I have added population to reach the next level and can see the Tin Route building available correctly !

In fact, I see the "Spice Route" building for many settlements ( Numantia , Pallantia etc ) but cannot actually build it. I can only ( correctly ) build it on the real Trade routes ( in my case Lusitania etc )
