    Default Constant Crashes

    Hi guys hope you can help me out here.


    Basically Iv reinstalled Napoleon for the 4th time and the game just wants to crash all the time.


    Doesnt matter where, sometimes Ill be in a battle and it will crash, sometimes Ill press the 'End Turn' button and it will crash again, today I went to save the game and it crashed as soon as I clicked the option.

    Any ideas?



    Im running windows 7 and the game ran perfectly on Windows XP so I think thats the problem although its a little late to roll back to a previous operating system for one game.

    Any suggestions? Any options or settings that windows 7 doesnt agree with?

    Any help appreciated.

    Besides turning off the eyecandy and disabling everything in the background,not much.

    Tried it, let me play a few hours on Campaign mode so I downloaded the Great War mod.


    Been playing that for even longer and it suddenly crashed on a battle, my sound has also gone, both from the game and the computer in general :S

    That was a little hard to understand, do you mean uninstall the RealTek drivers, restart the computer, and then play the game in a different compatibility setting?

    After you uninstall the RealTek drivers, reboot, Microsoft will find no sound drivers installed and install its own.

    Try deleting the scrits folder and verify your cache since the sound settings have changed.

    Try to update your graphics drivers.
