What patches and what version are you talking about?
There is only one patch 1.5 - and it's for Kingdoms.
2.0 you are referring to is version of Broken Crescent, I believe.
And 1.0 is M2TW, right?
Well, to play BC 2.02 you need M2TW 1.3 + BC 2.02 - and that's all.
Yes I have de medieval 2 fully upgraded and I can play broken crescent 1.0 .
But once I instal the 2.02 patch the game enters and apears the image of the knights, but then it just quits to the windows whithout saying nothing.
Hmm, so, you have BC1.0 installed now? And where did you install BC2.02?
Yes I have the BC 1.0 instaled. To instal the BC 2.02 I just run the patch, maybe that's the problem. Can you give me the correct destination to instal the patch?
To play BC2.02 you need only BC2.02. It is separate mod. You need to remove/unistal BC1.0 first and then install BC2.02.
I've done that, but it doesent apear a game icon on my desktop.
By the way thanks for the help
No problem.
I suppose you have installed it incorrectly. I suggest removing everything, including your M2TW installation, clearing installation directory and installing everything again without BC 1.0.![]()
I have the MTW2 but not the kingdoms and, as i've said in the last reply i've done as you said. My question is how I launch the game?
Before asking for help you should always make a nice and clear Opening Post that will clear any doubts for people who are trying to help you.
And also post the steps that u did when u installed this mod that always helps.
And about the Medieval 2 versions there are:-
- Medieval 2 vanilla(default) v1.0, v1.02, v1.03
- Kingdoms(vanilla is v1.04) and it's update is v1.05.
You don't need kingdoms to play BC you only need Medieval 2 vanilla patched to version 1.3 so how can u check that?
Simple:-
You launch Medieval 2 vanilla(default) and you go in options and see the Version on the Top Right of your screen like this shown below:-
Spoiler for Screenshot:
After that if it's 1.03 then u do exactly mentioned here or cross reference the steps with installation instructions given in the BC mod.
Good Luck!![]()
If you installed the mod accordingly to installation instructions, you should be able to launch the mod right away. If you don't have the shortcut on your desktop, then I assume you have done something wrongly.
You don't need Kingdoms to play BC, but you need M2TW patched to version 1.3.
