Is there a way to make the inde gauls/greeks/etc playable in the imperial campaign? I tried putting them in playable on descr_strat, but that didn't work, maybe because I have vista.

"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"
Really? My computer isn't letting me save the descr_strat changes
save it to your desktop then move it manually to the folder
after doing that it will let you edit and save it directly to the xgm folder

Wow the inde greeks are not easy, especially since half of their units cant leave the cities
To fix the immobile generals, go into descr_strat.txt, go down to the romans_brutii section, and remove the Immobile trait from the generals that have it. If you want the ICGS to have recruitable ships, you'll need to go into export_descr_buildings.txt.
Meh.
whats the difference between provincial campaign and the imperial campaign?
ive never seen provincial campaigns in vanilla rome.
Provincial campaigns in XGM are just variations on the Imperial Campaign; same map, but different starting conditions. It is possible to have entirely different maps. Vanilla RTW uses a map of Italy for the Prologue campaign, and would have used a map of Gaul for the planned Caesar in Gaul provincial campaign. Unfortunately the Caesar in Gaul campaign was cut before the initial release of the game.
