I just found this mod and downloading the DLV 6.0 exe and DLV 6.2 patch.Questions:Is there anything else (fix) that i need? Also is hotseat available in this mod and if it is are there any bugs reported on it?
DLV 6.0 + 6.2 patch is the normal setup for DLV. Brips make a little guide to help people with the best submods and in what order install it here
But, if you want to desable the garrison script you should disable it in the first turn in the series of options that appear.
If you are reffering to tha large amount of rebel armies you should try the DLV in a lower difficult level in the begining, or remove then in the game files.
EDIT: NO hotseat, and there is a huge thread about bugs, soo...
As far as i know there is no hotseat, but i can be mistaken.
And i don't know the way to remove those armies, someone with modding knowlage can tell you.
Hotseat is no good, since those who join won't be effected by the Player Scripts.
Those armies is the buffer zone between you and the other factions. It gives both them and you time to grow economically (which is vital to sustain a growing empire and maintaining professional armies in the field.
Good luck!

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga- The pranks played on the knight Jean de Joinville, 1249, 7th crusade.I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

I need a little help too.
I just started playing MTW2 and went for DLV right on, so I dont know if my question relates to a vanilla feature or is is special for DLV:
One od my FM was on the move and disappeared from the strat map. On the next turn he appeared again, but without bodyguards and is called lord instead of leader. Is that a special agent type, or can be turned back into leader again? I could not find it out. I also could not perform any action or move into city etc. with him. Please enlight me about this feature!
ulpinus,
I think it is a bug. Did you install the game outside program files? DLV has some weird habits when it is in this folder. If you don't, try to reinstall it in C:/med2 or wathever you want. then reinstall DLV. If it happen again you should report this in the bug tread.
And if you use some mini-mod then you should report this in the apropriated thread.
I have recently come over to DLV. Should I play with BB and follow Brip's mod list right at the start or should I play DLV 2.6 vanilla first to get used to it before adding BB and other mods? Thanks for the help, DLV looks like a great mod.![]()
AstroCat, BB makes the mod even harder, so I recommed you to try the original DLV, some custom battles or some campaig turns. If you feel that the battles are easy or normal, you should try BB, the new features that Taiji implemented are awesome, and the battles are really hard.
I play vanilla M2TW on H/H without much trouble so would you recommend I keep this setting on DLV? Thanks for the advice!
I think so. But the mod is recommended to VH/VH.
