This will be a reboot of the original game, but with some roles cut out, some different mechanics, a more balanced game, etc. I'll be mixing up the roles a little bit, so just remember, anyone can be a cover role, even Yoda or Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Rules
Game Phases: The Game is divided into alternating Day and Night Phases. Day is 48 hours long and Night is 24 hours. Posting and private communication is allowed during both phases.
Lynches: Every player MUST vote during the Day Phase for a player to be lynched. Votes must be in the Vote: Zack format; retractions eitherstruck throughor in Unvote: Zack format. Voting is mandatory, and if you continue not voting, then you will be WOGed or replaced. You may vote to Abstain, but it is NOT the same as a vote for No Lynch. Support votes - Vote: Zack - take away 1 lynch vote against a player.
Victory: To achieve victory, you must fulfill the victory condition described in your Role PM.
Communication: Feel free to use the TWC PM system as well as other methods of communicating, such as e-mail or IM. You may also set up your own QuickTopic. Please forward all conversations to me, I would be interested in reading them. DON'T quote any PMs you receive from me, whether it be privately or publicly.* You are allowed to quote PMs from other players, but be wary of false information.
*There is an exception: You can quote your Role PM in part or in whole and post it in the thread (sending ANY part of your Role PM to anyone in private, including QuickTopics, is strictly forbidden). Beware of cover roles.
Dead Players: If you are dead, you may continue to post in the thread and behave like a normal townie, but you may not reveal any new information or vote unless I specifically tell you otherwise. Do not talk to any other players, living or dead, about the game.
Alternatively, you may choose to gain access to a Dead Players QT. If you choose to do so, you will be prohibited from posting in the thread. I will PM you with more details if and when you die.
Factions: Almost everyone belongs to a faction. Your player will be in one of the following factions:
- Galactic Empire (Mafia 1)
- Sith (Mafia 2)
- Innocent
- Neutral (No Faction)
The majority of players will belong to the Innocent faction.
Strength: Every player in the game has a strength stat. Strength is based on a scale of 1 – 10. So what does strength matter? It matters for night kills.
If you are attacked, one of the following situations will take place (not considering abilities/items):

Your strength will always be listed as: Base Strength (Effective Strength)
Items and Abilities: Players have items (mostly vehicles), abilities, and other effects usable to influence the game. For anything which is not passive, I must receive a PM at the appropriate time detailing your action. Item transfers will require consent of both players.
Injuries: Players can be injured during night attacks (see: Strength) or because of an ability or item. When a player is injured, they cannot use any abilities or items, even passive ones. However, injured players can vote. Injuries last until both a Day Phase and a Night Phase have passed.
Credits, Income, and Auctions: Due to the miserable failure of this system last game, they will not make an appearance in this one.
Bounties: Anybody may put up a bounty, but only certain players may claim them (you will know if you have the ability to claim bounties). If you wish to put up a bounty, PM me. Bounties are anonymous, but they will appear in the update. Since there is no money in this game, the price of putting up a bounty is control of your lynch vote for x amount of days. You will not lose your vote until a bounty is claimed, at which point you are still required to vote - it just may not count for the player you vote for in the thread (will not be seen in the tally, so be forewarned for if/when a player is lynched when it appears that they shouldn't have been). If that seemed really confusing, it will make more sense once the game starts.
