    Default Some great reading!

    Hello gents!

I was recommended a book-series by my close American friend. Namely the "Emperor"-series by Conn Iggulden. The series consists of 1. The Gates of Rome, 2. The Death of Kings, 3. The Field of Swords and 4. The Gods of War. The series tell the story of Julius Caesar, and combines both historical facts and fiction (to make it more dramatical).

These books made me dust of Rome: Total War once more (even though not that much dust had accumulated )! So if anyone likes good reading and want to read about Rome - for you!
It is not titles that honour men, but men that honour titles.

Yeah. I'm actually re-reading that series, currently. Fantastic books.
Check out his other series, when you can. "Conqueror" is the title of it, it's about Genghis Khan. Evidently, there are four books now, so I need to find the fourth when I finish my pile of 8 or so books I'm wanting to get through.
Alea Iacta Est (The Die is Cast) - Gaius Julius Caesar
An army of sheep led by a lion is better than an army of lions led by a sheep - Alexander the Great
We will either find a way, or make one - Hannibal Barca
