Question about the mod on steam
It seems the only way to get mods to work with medieval on steam is having it on the vanilla launcher startup menu, wich ive only noticed 1 way of doing wich includes an .exe, but the mod doesnt contain one.so unless thers something i dont know to put in the launch options, any way to get it on the launcher? otherwise it wont work
also ive tried the batch file and reinstalled 2-3 times, just crashes instant with a black screen..seems they arent compatable with medieval on steam, the closest ive gotten is the mods startup screen through the vanilla launcher, but then it crashes.

Re: Question about the mod on steam
Hi, I really have no personal experience with steam and I disabled that annoying launcher soon after it came out. If you want to give this a go, it may help. Failing that there should be a system.log.txt in the main folder or possibly in the logs folder. If you want to post the last half dozen lines here, I will take a look

Re: Question about the mod on steam
Ok, that last line of the log tells me that you either dont have part 2 installed or its installed in the wrong place.

Re: Question about the mod on steam
Honestly, part 2 is not where the game is trying to find it. Just take a look at some of the other threads in this sub-forum, more than a few people have struggled with this for one reason or another. Their should be enough info here for you to figure it out.

Re: Question about the mod on steam
Hey, I was just wondering.. after you downloaded both install files, how did you do the installation?
Did you just double click them and gave the right folder where it needs to be extracted?
I do have a steam also and just wondering if the install files automatically make the mod folder by itself?
I do have a stainless steel currently, but no experience with any other mods.
Thank you in advance

Re: Question about the mod on steam
There is a default install path included for both parts, just like most games you would buy. You should check that the path is correct, ie, Medieval is installed in the default location. You will note that the path for part 2 is longer than the path for part 1, this is because part 2 is installed into the folder system created by part 1. If you need to change part 1's install path make sure you change the part 2 as appropriate.
