I'm searching freeware 3D editor to opens ETW *.rigid_meshes and *.rigid_models.

Hello everyone,

I would like to find a 3D editor ( could be trial ) that opens the ETW mentioned above type of files.

I tried Ultimate Unwrap 3D PRO, but it was only a demo version without save changes possibility....


This editor should have got a ETW plugin ( and be able to recognize those files) for sure.

I must edit three files from models.pack.


Any programs that you consider?

At the moment Ultimate Unwrap 3D is the one and only Program which can can read and save those files.

For any other 3D packages you need someone who writes a plugin and at the moment there is no one in this community who is interested and able to write such a converter, because then he would already wrote one.

Yes, i know that capt_falcone, but i mean open and edit those files ( not only view them.... ).

Of course, we could edit i.e unit models in 3D editors.

I 'm searching an editor which opens the 3D model of : the campaign and battle flagpoles, the damage bars from the naval battles ( sail damage bar and hull damage bars ) and the models of general stars ( displayed in Grand Campaign ).

Because some 2D textures are linked to 3D models and meshes.

Deleting rigid_mesh or rigid_model file, will cause a CTD.

As Primergy said : there is only one 3D editor capable to do this for now.
