    Default Troubles with hidden_resources

    I'm converwing my mod to kongdoms using BareKingdoms mod.
    Unfurtunalety, i discovered, thad my hidden resource doesn't work.
    The question is: there are different rules to use hidden resources in Kingdoms then in vanilla?
    In vanilla i simply added hidden resource in descr_regions, in EDU and it were work. Unfortunately this simply system doesn't work in Kingdoms (bareKingdoms)
    If i give "and hidden_resource the_name_of_resource" - i can't recruit unit with this sondition as long as i'm using hidden_resource function.

    For example when i'm using entry like this:
    recruit_pool "Syrian Militia" 1 0.02 2 0 requires factions { byzantium, russia, } and hidden_resources azja and region_religion orthodox 40
    i cannot recruit Syrian Militia. When i erase "and hidden_resources azja" all is ok. All besites that, that i want to available this unit in precised provinces only.

    You have to delete map.rwm and then restart the game.

    Any change in the base folder has to be done by deleting map.rwn.

    It wasn't necessary in vanilla version. So it's new knowledge for me

    You made a change in descr_regions by entering the hidden resource there as well. Since time I can remember, that type of change necessitates a deletion of map.rwm.
    The base folder Ishan is correctly referring to is data\world\base - any change there (and in the sub directories) will only take place either if map.rwm is deleted or\and a new campaign is started.

    I've not changed descr_region.txt I'm only changing EDB now.

    Without entering the hidden resource into the descr_regions file you will not get it to work, unless you are using the entry in the EDB to prohibit every faction to build that item.

    Yes. That's true, but i've copied some files from my mod working under vanilla control to my mod working under kingdoms control including all of my map files. So i didn't change it.

    Simply refer to the last line in your opening post - that was the reason. Apart from that you are using a new EXE - kingdoms instead of medieval2 -which has a high possibility of something being different. Keep it as a habit: if you modified anything in that wordl\base directory (and sub folders) - delete the map.rwm file.
