Default Determining which faction a princess belongs to?

    Hi again,

SS 6.3 question, I don't think this mission is in vanilla.

I got a mission saying my general is beguiled by princess Aldet. So they want me to arrange a marriage. Thing is how do I determine which faction she belongs to?

    descr_names.txt says she's English.

She should be one of yours, I think.

You only get such missions when the princess is yours. And they were in Vanilla too.

And then proceeds to die in two years time without any children Always happens. Plus, I feel morally objectionable doing these arranged, under-aged, inbred marriages....

in the original MTW you could marry sisters and brothers, but there was quite a loyalty hit plus increased chance of negative traits IIRC.

I tried this out of curiosity once and married my heir to his sister. As a result, all my following kings and princes were insane, six-toed morons.

Well, that makes no sense according to the traits. There is no way to check if a princess is married to her brother, so it's just bad luck.

    He was joking
You can't marry brothers and sisters. Cousins are the closest relative that the game allows. If you try to marry them, you'll just get the "No Marriage Propopals possible"-message, or however it's called, similar to if the guy was already married.

He was talking about the Original Medieval Total war of 2003 ( i still have the buildings and units paper that came with the cd box ) , back then you could marry brothers and sisters but there was a message warning you that such inbreeding could produce oddities and it used to give bad traits and affect reputation if my memory is correct .

what was cool is that if you were not satisfied , you could use your assassins to kill your own king or local lords . First MTW was really amazing back then , was an ambitious project for that time , loved it so much
