Ontopic - the ancient Arabs, be them the Moors or the Ottomans, always fascinated me and they changed our world and the western civilization like few others did. To be honest we owe them almost as much as we owe the Romans for what we are.

I voted for 50/50, because we have love/hate relation with them. We love them because they gave huge sacrifices for Islam and because Islam spread in whole world and came to India from their land and because Prophet (pbuh) was an Arab by ethnicity. I love Arabs for the brotherly help they have done for Pakistani flood victims.

Why we hate them? Except one nearly all of the reasons why we love belong to history, sadly present day Arabs are not so good. Biggest reason to hate them is that they think themselves superior than other Muslims and humans. They humiliate South Asian Muslims (all is not their fault btw) and they are blind by Arab nationalism which was rejected by Prophet (pbuh). Another reason for hate is their attitude towards other Muslim sects and their view of Islam. They think that sacred graveyards in Mecca and Medina, and sacred sites scattered in whole Arabia are their property and they can do what ever they want to do with them. So 50/50.

I don't think you can simply say yes or no, if you say the latter then to be honest your something of a rascist to dislike someone purely on race; on the other hand if you put yes then your naive to like people simply because of their race.

You may like some and you may not like others, they're a diverse group of people, not a clone army.

I (wrongly) use the word Arab as a synonym for Muslim. I know it's wrong, I've got to change that.
