I CANNOT believe they decided to make shogun 2 total war instead of Rome 2 total war

does anyone else here feel bitterely angry and upset that ca has decided to make shogun total war 2, a game that didnt even sell well and no one even likes instead of rome 2 total war, which would sell for sure and would have been the best game theyve made? i feel angry and upset and annoyed that although everyone wanted rome total war 2, they purposely go and make shogun 2 total war.
does anyone else feel bitter about it

I'm glad they didn't do Rome, It about damn time they do a Shogun sequel, I'm sure it will sell well.
Rome can wait, seeing how all of the TW games Have full 3d(Except MED1,but it got a sequel), and Mods, unlike Shogun 1.

Well from what i noticed most of the RTW fans do not like their last two TW's (ETW and NTW) so they
probably thought they will release one more game in between before going Rome again to convince the
RTW fans that it will not be same like the latest ones.

actaully I adore STW, it is by far given me the most fun I've had playing on any TW game

I prefer Shogun over Rome 2.

Since EB and "soon" EB 2 are and will be better than Rome 2 could be.

Yeah, well Roma Surrectum/EB II is better then Rome II anyway, I would've prefered they would've done something new, maybe in the period of Babylon, Assyria, Hittites, Egypt or just something else instead of making some sequels..

They'll make RTW2 when they make RTW2.

I offer a crumb of comfort to our seething, furious and peed off OP.

Shogun2 is a bit 'romey and bi-like' with its melee stuff, archers and cavalry types etc and probably won't have a load of pointy shooty nonsense with guys lining up take potshots at each other and seeing who is the last to drop. Zzzzzzz.

Why should I - STW was an awesome game. Let´s see how the second part will perform.

And who wants Rome2? Give me Medieval3:TW followed by Renaissance or 19th Century:TW (to have a break from all those sequels) and then Empire2:TW of course.

And wasn´t there a nearly similar named thread some months ago?

Rome with 3D naval battles, or maybe an earlier time period
