Ok, as I'm going to make a couple new units for the gauls I need your opinion on the skins...

It's a simple poll, let me know which skin you prefer the most.

1 and 3 tbh. I like both of them.

The first one looks great. The third looks more realistic perhaps. But I really like the worked leather cuirass look.

No matter the choice the final result will get an helmet and an armour rating of 5, all 3 samples are classified as "leather" armour.

Pants are realistic for celts, although the design is still from vanilla and so open to huge improvements...

Until a proper unit artist will join us full time I'm afraid my quick and dirty skins will have to do, at least they will give some moderate improvement over the looks.

I agree with this. It'd make the Germans, Gauls and Celts stand out (slightly).

Actually the half naked men would be that just for battle, those leather clad guys are post reform.

Couldn't you advertise for a modeler in the Workshop?

We did more than once but got no answer... As a result I had to become a skinner as well while Suppanut covers basic modeling like swapping weapons and the like...

Same with most of the others, either the first or the third. Voted #3. #1 looks more like actual leather armour as opposed to #3, which looks like a shirt, but the sleeveless look doesn't look quite right.
