Unit Roster Questions

I took a look at Genoa's roster in the custom battle screen and noticed that they have Gendarmes and Musketeers(not late musketeers, already have them). When am I supposed to get them, and what buildings do I need to recruit them. Also, as Genoa I bought Constantinople and have no idea when I'm supposed to get those nice Siphonatores, Scolairi, and those palace guards. I'm playing with RR/RC disabled, and it's turn 188 of the early campaign.

Also, I'm pretty sure Siphonatores aren't AoR units, so only the Romans can get them.
