Patching D2D version of Kingdoms?
Hey all, my friend's got a problem with his version of Kingdoms and we're both currently stumped.
He got his copy of both M2TW and Kingdoms from Direct2Drive. The M2TW comes pre-patched at version 1.03, but Kingdoms is at 1.04. The only downloadable patch we found for 1.05 explicitly states that it does not work for digitally distributed versions, and unfortunately they weren't joking...
So, what can we do? Is there a patch for non-boxed versions of the game out there? I know Steam patches stuff automatically but a) he's already bought the d2d version and b) I heard there's problems running mods with Steam.
Any help will be much appreciated
