Spain 'busts child pornography network'

Police have arrested 57 people over child pornography allegations Spain, including business owners and local police officers, the authorities say.
Those detained in recent days include a gardener who had filmed relatives aged seven and 14 in sexual poses.
Another 47 people have been placed under investigation as part of the same inquiry.
The police said they carried out almost 100 raids across Spain after uncovering a file-sharing network.
The operation used software developed by Norwegian police to detect people exchanging child pornography on peer-to-peer networks, which allow users to exchange files online directly between computers.
The network was shut down three days after it was uncovered, the police said.
Among those detained were two local police officers - one in the Basque region and one in the southern area of Andalusia.
The authorities described it as one of the biggest raids in years.
Spain has arrested hundreds of people for distributing child pornography in recent years. The biggest raid came in October 2008 when 121 suspects were detained.

It was nice of the Ottomans to send hundreds of boats to collect the Jews the Spanish deported after the Alhambra Decree though. I mean the ones that werent executed or forcibly converted beforehand. Who would have thought Catholics like Isabella or Ferdinand would have turned out to be so virulently anti-semitic?

Ridiculous considering Spain is still a very Catholic country whereas the last moors were kicked out in 1492. However, it's not Catholicism either as it doesn't force its adherents to be celibate. Paedophiles exist the world over; I just can't decide whether it's a mental illness for which they should receive psychological help or if they should just face normal jail time.

Age of consent in Spain is 13. Age of consent in Maroc is 18. Tunisia its 20. Perhaps Spain is out Mooring the Moors.

@OP: i dont know why you are mentioning that Spain is a Catholic country. If these people truly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, then they would have never done these crimes.

I hope the judges havent accepted Jesus, so these paedos can be executed.

The scariest thing is the number of pedos and the fact that many occupy positions of trust and authority. If the police have pedos within their ranks then who can you trust? And why would someone find child porngraphy arousing in the slightest? This is disgusting. What can be done about pedos to prevent cases like this from repeating themselves? Perhaps capital punishment for pedos is the answer.
