    Default sea travel doesn't work

    sea travel does not work. nothing works. i have put ships in ever place i need them. nothing. i am getting very mad. there are no enemy ships either.

    i don't know. I know almost nothing about total war other than playing live battles.

    Wait ... do you mean sea travel for strategic units (diplomats, priests, spies or princesses) or naval invasions with your armies?
    This does make some differences.

    To be fair, campaigning in Medieval/Shogun has a much steeper learning curve than in later games.

    You're talking about Medieval I, not II, right?

    Thats why this is called "Medieval/Shogun: Total War General Discussion"

    Anyway it is very simple, if you have a region, it needs a port in it so that units in the region can sea travel, if there is no port you have to move them to a port region. You also need boats in sea regions so that you can link to other land regions.

    I have a feeling that the poster will not come back and reply so this comment is for archive purposes , it really does not take much effort to read the manual so please stop torrenting and/or being stupid.
