Default -Ask CA about RTW and related! -

I have pm-d the Shogun not long ago and he was nice enough to inform me, that CA (or him as the representative) is willing for us to ask some questions about totalwar or anything related.

    his pm to me:
Thanks mate. Sorry for the silence... so any thing we can do for you guys. FAQ of dev interview for the new year perhaps? Let me know things have really turned around on this site in the last few months and it's a great change for the better.
the Shogun tells me that we can do a dev. interview or give him a FAQ and he is happy that our site is very friendly and popular.

    What do you guys think?
Should we do an interview? Who will volunteer to interview CA?
Should we do a FAQ? Where should I post it?

They should answer these questions, as filtered by some knowledgeable modder so we don't waste their time with trivialities and stuff they've already answered or already said they won't answer (I'd be willing to do it). Plus we need to check out and add the equivalent questions at the Org. Other than answering modding questions, CA doesn't have much to offer us, IMO.

I think we should give people a chance to add some more general questions to the list once it's filtered too, because modding isn't the only aspect of TW games.

It's the only one where CA information would be materially useful to us, however, as opposed to satisfying our curiosity (which CA wouldn't anyway about the things most people are actually interested in, e.g., the setting of Total War 4). Also, people had the chance to ask plenty of general questions in the FAQs CA was putting out before, but CA largely avoided modding questions in those.

How about the Eagle Standard does an interview with CA? in a Question /Answer form, like gaming websites do?

We filter through the questions from the modding community and general community and make a small questionaire, which I can hand over to The Shogun?

I like that idea. Anything to make the Eagle Standard expand more; and it could attract more people to TWC if a TWC-only service is offering an exclusive interview with CA.

I like the ES doing an interview.

Then I also agree with Sim, modding info would seem to be the area were talking to CA could help. They are not going to tell us about TW 4(though we could still ask ) so we need to work with what we have, and since the patch is out, modding seems to be the area that could help us most.

But this is also a chance to draw people to TWC to see it, and if we get all modding techincal most people will not be interested.

    So I have no idea.

You guys be my guest deciding on this. If you give me a list of questions, let that be a FAQ or an interview, I will forward it to the Shogun.

Well this would be nice. Interview the team about RTW, CA's past, and Total War's future.

I am willing to do this with the rest of the ES team. I have past experience:

Well I owuld love to take this on.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

A possible question: Have the move to SEGA changed the "Total war" franchise in any way?

    Good question:
Will we get more patches, or at least something smaller like 1.5b/1.6b?
