    did you ever really feel satisfied with TATW's large battles? casue i sure didnt. i also didnt feel like the "uber" units were really uber. its supposed to be a hard game to play and with my submod i've made the game alot hard. so here's a preview of whats comming!

    well the basics are calvery charges are VERY strong, you dont just knock down one or two soliders; you knock down the first line more or less.

    General changes

    all units get an attack bonus but armor remains the same.

    all units are able to be built from the start

    all recruitment buildings can make 9 units per turn

    all factions start with $$$10 million

    all siege units were left the same i may increase the mordor catapult trolls damge since they are in fact trolls

    trolls are UBER

    Mummakil are VERY strong

    all units are able to be recruited every 2 turns

    Isenguard

    berserkers are the strongest isengaurd unit by far and will slay alotta people but have almost no armor

    wargs are now great against light cal/light infantry but die fast against heavy infantry/ heavy cal

    alll uruk-hai have 12 attack but the lesser troops just have a small increase

    the Gaurdsmen are your second best unit but are the most armored

    clansmen can be recruited in all of your settlements

    Eridor

    dunidane rangers can be recruited out of all your cites

    battle ready dunidane are your best solders with the dunidane archers

    all units can be recruited VERY fast but arent as good as most other factions

    dunidane rangers are VERY skilled archers and as such have alot of attack

    Arnor

    all units get a major attack upgrade

    Blue elves

    the best archers in the known world

    faster pool times but each unit still takes 2-3 turns to make

    Green Elves

    also has the best archers in the known world but has more varity and can get ents if an enemy owns Fangorn

    Rohan

    best calvery in the known world

    all units can be recruited out of all settlements

    calvery archers are very strong in melee and archery

    OOMM

    trolls can be made out of all settlements

    Orcs of Gundabad

    trolls can be made out of every settlement

    Dale

    swordmasters are as good as berserkers, but heavily armored

    longbowmen are strong as well

    use the dwarfs to help if you are in trouble, the dwarf infantry is definatly the best in this world

    Dwarfs

    all units get a nice attack increase, armor remains the same

    all units can be recruited at any settlement even the gaurds of Khazadum

    little archers and still no calvery

    Rhun

    strong calvery and light infantry with excellent calvery archers

    strong generals and prolly the best for a newcomer

    Harad

    mummakils are stronger then ever and there archer will slaughter men from a distance while you trample your foes

    mummakils can be recruited from any settlement

    prolly the best late-game faction since you'll have alot of mummakil but im sure mordor is still best

    Mordor

    trolls can be built in any settlement

    for fun, you can have black gates on any citidel

    troops are descent but trolls will make you a strong force

    can build armies the fastest

    use troll catapults as troops if needed (they are stong foot soliders since they are trolls)

    Gondor

    all units can be built in any settlement (please read final note about this, its kinda messed up for certain units)

    Faramir's bodygaurds are your best units with AMAZING attack USE HIM WELL!

    ithillian rangers are your best archer unit (besides foutain gaurds and swans)

    blackfoot archers are also good but alittle weaker than Ithillian rangers



    Final notes/thoughts

    for gondor, dismounted swan knights can be made in any huge city

    fountian gaurds are still only availible in Minas Tirith

    gondor has the roughest time in the beginning since mordor and eventually harad will be trying to kill you

    i recomend using "process_cq" since you already are at a nice disadvantage

    this dosent work atm with any other mod except FRoME 2.0 and barons (will be up soon)

    you may think its lame how come you have alotta money and it will make this game boring and easy.. well trust me it isnt!!! your money will run out fast unless you are careful

    ENT mercs are availible at fangorn but id hurry if i was you!

    i'll be listening to all suggestions that people give and will update then to suit all players

    Install!!!!

    just make a backup of your file sand just overide them... and you are done!

    PLEASE NOTE!!!! you MUST have a clean version of 2.1 and only barons submod

    i'll post screens of my campaign so you can see the kinda stuff you have to face


    also please post pics of your campaign t show off the masses of soliders or whatever lol

    why make a second thread, when you can post them both in the same thread and just specify that there are 2 different downloads ?

    becasue this is ONLY for barons mod and the other is ONLY for FRoME2.0 if u put wrong one in.. your game is messed up. also this shows that the 2nd mod is up

    yeah i got that but the mod is the same right? but compatitbility is different.. you just had to post that in your thread like this:

    Massive combat submod

    bla bla bla....


    Version for FROME:

    A lot of mods have different versions, there's no need for multiple threads. Go to your original thread and just do something like this:

    Link for vanilla version: www.link.com

    Link for Baron's version: www.link2.com
    If you have multiple files just zip or rar them and upload each version as a single file, it's not hard at all. The sub mod forum is suffering from major overcrowding and we really need things to be as organized as possible.
