new patches, need advice/help
Is there anyway for me to be able to direct the installation of the new patches myself since I've made tons of copies of my RTW installation and renamed them?
When I run the patch installation i just get an errormessage saying ''RomeTW.exe has not been detected''

Here is what I did:
I took the copy of RTW out of the "C:\Games\VanillaBI (my folder)" and put it to "C:\Programs\Activision\Rome - Total War" folder (because that is the folder the patches install themselves to).
It has worked for me in that way, I don't know if it works for you, but it's worth a try before reinstalling.

Well...you heard the guy.
He is right. I just translated my german C:\Programme folder into english...but in fact it has to be Program Files. I am happy to hear that it worked.
