    Default Which RTW mod is most steam friendly?

    I had the old RTW 3-cd game which came as V1.0 and I am unable to patch to v1.3 and v1.5, so I said the heck with it and see RTW: Gold and the Alexander expansion pack is for $10. My question is which mod is the most steam friendly out there.

    All mods are steam-friendly.
    You just have to change the target line in steam to whatever mod you're playing.

    XGM and XC have optimized installers that will make them easier to install with steam.

    some can be a pain to get started up on but once you figure it out you can play any mod on steam
