Default recruiting on the border - possible?

Has someone any idea on the script checking the placement of the province? I would like to make for some of units a condition enabled recruiting them on the border only.

You can do it but it would require extremely heavy scripting. Basically you'd need to check every settlement every time a settlement changed hands (or at least every turn end) and if it was adjacent to a foreign owned settlement then activate a counter which you use in EDB for border region recruitment. Assuming that you are using the full 200 regions (199 as settlements) and each border 5 others you are looking at a lot of conditionals (at least 500 or so) to make it work.

Attyla small steps at a time bro.
Check the TWC university and look for GED scripting classes there it will help in learning the basics on how to make scripts.

    descr_character.txt.

As Squid already said that u can use any text editing program and i presume u use notepad so that will do well.

And about the descr_character.txt file post your log so that we can trace out a few errors that might be causing it.

Firstly i removed your attachment that was wrong as you said.

For removing attachments u can always press "Edit Post" and after that "Go Advanced".
After that under the post their will be a button for manage attachments click it and then a new window will pop up and then scroll down and click remove attachment which u don't want.

Now on to your problem in game. Barekingdoms has nothing wrong in it trust me, i use it and have been using it like for 2 years or so and i haven't seen any error that might give problems later on in modding.

I check ed your log and it has dozen of errors:-
Errors in descr_strat.txt file pretty much as it says so nothing to tell how to fix it.

Just open the file in whatever text editing program you're using for modding.
