Do you have v2.3 or an older version? Because in v2.3 you need to replace
mod "trom2_enable_campaigns_01.pack";
with either
mod "trom2_enable_1812_campaign.pack";
or
mod "trom2_enable_1805_campaign.pack";

I tried a campaign and game crashed. Seemed to still be Vanilla though

If you don't see a TROM2 logo in the main menue, then the packs are not enabled. Are you shure the packs are in the right directory? If so, I am out of ideas.

Btw, was there supposed to be a trom2 campaigns 01 file/folder for the Data Folder? If so, I never got one in my DL

Try to use the mod manager that comes with the TROM2 DL.

Tried but was unable to DL the NET Framework needed for it. I've tried several times.

Sorry, I mean, I can DL it but there's ALWAYS a Setup Error with it.

Is the user script in the same directory as preferences.script.txt and written like this: user.script.txt ?

UPDATE!

I have discovered and corrected the issue! And the fault was mine it seems.

When first DL TROM2 I unpacked the Zip files and copied the required various folders and files into the NTW Data Folder, and after reading the Installation Guide I find I need to load the Mod Manager which I did. I then create a Profile. However somthing happened, I cannot remember what, somthing I, the Mod or Comp did that did not allow me to play the Mod.

So to me, it seems the ModManager does not work. So I try the scripting method. I created a UserScript and I have done everything correctly. However! The ModManager profile still existed and seemed to couse a conflict of some sort (I think) between it and the UserScript. I tried loading the ModManager however it came up with a large Error Message. After a while of fiddling around, I then delete the Profile and UserScript and try again. This time trying the ModManager again, creating a Profile but NOT a UserScript as I had done before (not realising the conflict) and now it works!

I have come up with a new issue!

My Campaign of 1812 does not look like this.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

The start date under Faction Leader portrait says 1805.

I have different factions and France does not have as much territory as above.

Maybe the campaign files are not installed properly. Make shure you have a TROM2_1812_Campaign directory in ...\data\campaigns.

Solved the issue. The problem is that the Mod seems not compatible with the New Victory Conditions SubMod, or atleast 1812 Campaign isn't. Which makes sense since it's is already Custom made.

Hehe, well I think the V-C's are alright for the 1812 Campaign, but go ahead and make one - for experimental usage alone if you liked. See what people prefer or somthing?

But, great work for the alternate V-C's for the 1805 Campaign! Rep man!
