    Default Martial Law

So i reinstalled XGM to remove land bridges and decided "wth, ill enable crappy loyalty again." I thought this applied only to Greek and Rome factions, but then i was playing iberia and saw a new building called "Martial Law".

Its basicly something that boosts a settlement public order, but sacrifices economic growth to do so.

Now, i dont know about you guys, but when im in an advanced stage of my campaign, and not matter how many + law bonus buildings i have, the public order of my settlements isnt that high, i dont think it even goes aboe 150% in a late stage.

My question is: is Martial law a situational tool, like to boost your public order when its really low, or is it smth to be used throughout the campaign but only in certain settlements?

Im not a big fan of loyalty, so im not familiar with this type of stuff, hence this thread.

Martial law isn't related to the loyalty feature. The purpose of these buildings is to allow you to impose control on a recently captured settlement until you can get unrest and culture problems sorted out. The economic penalties are severe, so you don't want to have more than one or two martial law buildings in your empire at a given time, and you should demolish them as soon as you can.

Martial law is a recent addition. It probably showed up the last time you updated.
