Default Sex change operations and sensitivity

As I am woefully ignorant about why people would want to change their sex and how they go about it I read it up on Wikipedia.

Apparently after an operation to change their genitals they can't feel any sexual pleasure. Surely that would be a huge deterrent?

Is there any possible way they could continue to feel sexual pleasure after the operation? Do we understad how the skin on our genetials produces such a pleasurable feeling when stimulated?

They can feel sexual pleasure, just often much less then the average person. They still use the sensitive foreskin when reshaping the genitals.

This is one topic for which I am glad to be ignorant. Scheuch...been doing your research?
