i guess this was asked before!

can it be destroyed at mount doom? what happens when a good faction gets it? my misty general who carried it was killed, one turn later anoter of my generals got it, is it possible to fetch it from an enemy general?

No it can't, it's just an ancillary with some +/- effects.

It still will have the same effects.

Edit: if you lose the one ring: you can acquire it again by letting one of your generals stay a couple of turns in: Mountain Fort, Goblin town or Moria (based on random chance).

but there IS a sub mod which makes the ring an extremly important part of the game, and it can lead to mordors destruction if brought to mount doom, but i dotn know if its been updated to 2.1 yet though

Yes you meant: "The Lord of the Ring" for TATW 1.4 (and 1.4.1) ; THE ONE ONE RING'S SCRIPT, but as the title says it is not compatible with 2.1 yet, but it is under further development.

This: Sauron & The One Ring submod for TATW 2.1 will allow you to unleash Sauron when you acquire the ring.

do u mean by fighting or natural causes? cause by fighting the killer gets the ring... idk about natural causes

No, it`s actually impossible to "steal" ancillaries from generals by killing them. That trigger is broken and doesn`t work.

And considering that he got frodo he seems to play the fellowship campaign. If he dies he`ll lose.

If the general with the ring is assassinated in the normal campaign the ring can be found again in the misty mountains.
