There was a lot of talk about altering the climate. There's Haelstrom, and there's also that submission (one of the systems you randomly explore- might've been on a star chart bought on Ilium) where you stop Geth from changing the climate of another planet.

There was also a reference in EDI's files about Cerberus I believe, or on some other report on illegal activities, about an increased demand for someshit which made the suns unstable?

Changing the climate has something to do with it all and ageing the suns. And what was in Kasumi's greybox - the Alliance has something to do with it all?

Well aging sons could mean that whoever, or whatever is causing it, is trying to creat a black hole? Perhaps the reapers could use blackholes to enter the Galaxy or something (though honestly I'm going out on a limb here and they looked kinda close to the edge of the galaxy in the end of ME2).

But other than killing off whole systems which I don't think is the reason why, the only other explanation would be the creation of blackwholes through the collapsing of stars.

Why would the reapers want to destroy stars? Seems like they would just be increasing a barrier for future advanced organic life since there are only a small amount of practically accessible systems that are near the mass relays.

plus in order to create a black hole you'd need a super-giant, not puny dholen. even a red giant won't always do the trick

Ok, you guys put forwardan explanation as to why reapers or whoever would want to unnaturally age suns.

To be honest that's one thing I am completely clueless about. I don't have any real thoughts or speculation on that one at all.

They could harvest black holes as a power source maybe, or using the power of the sun collapse entire systems by way of a supernova explosion.

Or they could be destabilizing it to mess with the Geth since the whole synthetic AI race might be a bit of a problem. And that's where a large Geth fleet is stationed.

Has someone mentioned the Illusive Man might get assassinated in either me3 or even a me2 DLC?

I could have sworn there was something about that in the Shadow Broker dossiers.

I hope not. If anyone is taking down TIM it'll be Shepard, the guy is too good of a villain/hero.

Better yet, I can see him getting off scot-free.

I'd be very surprised to see TIM return for a DLC, as it would require them grabbing Martin Sheen from whatever he's doing. If they were planning it, it's the sort of thing they'd have thought of well in the past, as they could then record all the voice acting in one go. And as we know from other DLCs, if they'd done that, it'd likely be in the game files somewhere.

Then again, they could hire him to do that and his ME3 lines in one go.

I bet his fate will be decided depending on your decisions in ME3 and previous games.

Exactly, on the Shadow Broker's dossiers about Miranda you can find a small bit of info about this possibility:
"Cerberus Officer. Efficient, ruthless, obsessed with human dominance. Possible recruitment candidate after Illusive Man's assassination and destruction of Cerberus."
I would say byebye to Cerberus and TIM

That got me thinking, on me2 finale if you save the collector base he gets that grim and sleezy smile on his face which isn't surely because of the good-doing he'll do with the collector technology.
He'll probably get so full of himself that shepard will whack him

I think that related to the Shadow Broker's plans. He and TIM were competing after all.

I like TIM's sleazy smile. It's part of his character. He is the perfect chessmaster/manipulative bastard.

TIM is probably one of my favorite new characters from ME 2. His theme is awesome.
Do you play Morrowind? Do you like old castles, ferocious hairy beasts, expansive wintry forests, and killing dark elves?
