    Default Which mod has the best eye candy?

    Just picked up the game and was wondering which mod has the best eye candy? SPQR and RTR have the most threads in them, but I'm unsure if that translates into eye candy and better game play.

    I have to admit it looks nice, but I prefer the Roman time period (Gladiator movie type uniforms).

    Depends on how you define 'eye candy.' EB, for example, has very realistic-looking units (and some that are quite colorful), so I would call it eye candy, even though they're not necessarily the prettiest-looking units around.
    I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

    RSII and EB have the two nicest looking units if you ask me.

    Yeah, I gotta agree with the guy above me on RS2 and EB (even though I'm not a regular player of the latter, they do have some of the best looking units ever made for a mod). Other noteworthy mentions are Aristeia: Total War, Sparta: Total War, and Extended Greek Mod.

    RS2 is by far superior to all other in regards to eye candy.
    Make sure you join the RS II hamachi network too, loads of fun.

    Saxdude haven't seen you on Hamachi.

    Definitely Roma surrectum 2. The unit detail, artwork and battle map terrain are all superb

    Try Aristeia if you get Alexander. Much improved visuals over vanilla, and the units are pretty damned movie-worthy and awesome. Plus you get hero units.

    EB is good mod but its realy slow
    but RSII is best mod and the graphichs are better than med 2
