Hey there, im playing as the Byzantine Empire and am around turn 95 when I was given the mission by an Egyption Prince to kill his farther:
Time: 10 turns
Crown Prince Tantawi:
"My farther is but a simpering fool. If left to rule he will bring only ruin to what should be my empire. Kill him so that I may lead my empire to greatness, and our empires shall rule side-by-side as brothers. I willing to generiously "recompsense" you for your troubles."
Target: Sultan Moussa
Reward: You will improve your relations with this nation. You will recieve 5000 florins
Penalty: You will dissapoint this faction
My first question is whether I should take this mission at all, seeing that im not currently at war with Egypt and killing the king will only lead to future war. If yes, than how should I do it? Does one have to Assasinate the target or do I have to declare war openly and kill the King on the field of battle? I do not wish to mess up my luck thus far, The Catholic nations have not touched me yet and have appeased the Papal States to not fight on two different fronts. and I hope to keep it that way and the Mongols have ended up storming Russia and Poland rather than the Turkish lands however I am not guaranteed safety for long.
