Changeing Family Generation

Hi there, I was playing ss 6.3 with Turks and I have gotten sick and tired of the hard-coded limit of family members to lands owned as it results in the ruling dynasty dying out 98% percent of times totally ruining immersion for me.

So I was wondering what if instead of there being 4 children slots there was 2? That would free up tons of slots and families would be more complete and spread around the tree. Also what if there was a higher chance of male child than female that would also help in my opinion.

How would I make this come to be?

Thats actually an interesting idea...changing the child limit...I'll have to mess around with that in my next campaign.

The upper limit is 4, you might get something working with lower numbers.

descr_campaign_db.xml is the file u want and look for "<family_tree>".
