hello everyone, i need some help, im trying to play medieval 2 on line. and when i first got the game i entered the cd code and stuff and played online for fine.then i got a new comp and gave my old tower to a friend. now it says that i have an invalid cd-key and it wont let me play online with my new computer. so plz help guysssss and thank you to everyone that helps.

Get the harddrive out of the old tower you gave away. The code is in the registry and your buddy could be using it. If that does not work, talk to the online people in charge, and one of you may end up buying a new copy to play online.

Are you sure you entered the CD key correctly? IIRC the online mode is more strict - you'll need to enter the code in all caps and set the hyphens perfectly....
