    Default Elves hit every time

    Is it possible to make the elven arches have extreme accuracy, so arrows hit every time kill most units in one hit. If so also make orcs really in accurate.

    use search function, everything is u need already on the forums
    Accuracy is an attribute/stat in descr_projectiles.txt. It's a property of the projectile type, not the unit.

    Good idea, I mean the Elves are amazing with bow and arrows, or make them fire faster? Is that even a possibility?

    yeah since the elves were so great in the movies lets make em shoot faster, and hit every time and have 32432523423 hp by the unit and all that.. oh hey lets get them im bigger numbers with bigger attack and defence cuz their craftsmen know how to do their job....

    I know that they are not gods but because of there keen Eyesight I wanted to know if it is possible to make them realisticly more accurate, so know not every time as I said at the start. I never sid anything about extreme numbers I know there were very few elves at this time, and super speed definatley not realistic .

    Just go to 'Units' in the game directory and alter the unit's values. Should be there somewhere ;P

    Anyway to go about it isn't so simple but, here goes.

    Program Files/Sega/Medieval II Total War/mods/Third_Age/data/descr_projectile is where you'd go about modifying the accuracy. The line you're looking for is accuracy_vs_units. A lower number is more accurate than a higher number. For example: the projectile "projectile arrow" has an accuracy_vs_units of 0.075, while the projectile "projectile arrow_fiery" has 0.09. Therefore, "projectile arrow" is more accurate than "projectile arrow_fiery".

    Editing the values is the easy part, the difficult part is figuring out which archer uses which projectile, for this you'll need to go into Third_Age/data/export_desc_unit. What you are looking for in this file is stat_pri. The units projectile (if it's a ranged unit) is the third one from the left in this row. For example: The unit "Elf Archers" have the "elven_arrow" projectile. To make your life easier with dealing with this file, each faction has it's own section. The High Elven roster is under the large "...###High Elves###..." title, the same applies for the Silvan Elves. The Silvan Elves replace the Mongols, and the High Elves replace Egypt. Also, note that in both file pressing Ctrl+F will bring up a handy search function.
