I set a full stack of army outside the city for two terms(spring and winter). Then I was asked to join for my allied force, when I entry the battlefield, I found my five cavalry units lost half of it men. Is this a bug or original game problem?

As you've not posted any information about where the settlement is it's a bit hard to say Also did you lose the men before the battle? Did you check your army composition?
You may have missed a climatic event that has destroyed some men - esrthquakes, volcanoe eruptions etc.

No, if it is a climatic event, I will notice. It is siege of Gazaca and I am playing Seleucid allied force was called for help.
