I agree, as immigrants or children of immigrants, they should instead be thankful and respectful to their home country, as I can confidently assume that life in Britain is much better than life in their original countries. If a country lets you in with open arms, you don't step on its foot on your way in.

There already are Sharia Courts in the UK that are empowered to pass judgement on domestic cases if both parties consent to it. They have no power to punish or imprison, they're only for personal matters. There's also Jewish Courts of the same nature, though I don't know their proper name. I doubt the UK will instate Sharia Law as the national law any time soon.

Also, I agree that timetabled withdrawals are wrong, Cameron is being foolish there. Though, to be honest, I can't help but think that he's doing this to spite Obama: there's been rumbling here for quite some time about how Obama seems to treat the UK with indifference if not even a mild dislike. Considering the "vow" came after talks with Obama, it seems to me that Cameron may hold a similar opinion and, as such, have lost some willingness to continue to support the Afghan war.

Yeah, tis pretty funny -- it's literally no different from the process of outside arbitration or adjudication that goes on commonly in both the UK and US, but since Muslims are doing it now it's dangerous.
