Sorry for being so blunt but, is this mod dead in the water?. I know you guys are still working on it but updates on the mod have been slow as of late and I keep seeing new ideas posted and to me it looks like this is not coming out for a long time. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining, I mean I can't do half of what you guys do as far as modding goes but I would just like to know when if ever this could be released because a while back it looked like you guys almost had it done.

But on the bright side I'm still enjoying 2.0
We have indeed many ideas, which makes it hard to stop adding things to the 2.1 version.
But don't worry i personally forced myself not to open any 3D Package unitl 2.1 is released .

you mean you gave the infantry fire by rank? that works to. The last version of this mod I played the infantry could only fire from the front rank.

of course if you mean that all three ranks fire at the same time now then that might be a bit excessive, likely to shoot someone in the back.

Want! Did I see a Whitworth Rifle in there, or is that some other kind of artillery (top line, furthest picture right)? Looks different from the other ones.

How did you get the flags to stay after the bearer was dead? Is that a new feature?

The flags are equipment files, so equipment stay on the ground when the guy is dead

    Ideas

There should be 2 flags in regiment and regular troops should be able to hold it so if the man with the flag gets killed then the man behind or closest to him picks it up.
(man does some sort of pick up motion or something similar and flag appears in his hands from the ground would be believable)

There should also be sergeants in the brigade they have sword and pistol good fore when they are defending fire 6 shots then takes 9 seconds to reload but probably only have 12 magazines.

    The Campane should be multiplayer

2 flags in squad one fore the nation it belongs and the other the region the confederate brigades like texis rangers Louisiana tigers extra all have special flags or the Irish brigade.

You should make it so that enemy cannons can be captured and turned against them by regular infantry you click on there cannon when they abandon it and 32 men from your select brigade leave to man it.
(All men have ability to man cannon in script maybe)

There should be a fort like the one in cold mountain with big canons and trenches i mean or some sort of improved fort that you can build on the cam pane map.
