WOW! This looks great! Can't wait to play it, good luck!
What's the unit roster at this time.
if you can give the Infantry units schiltrom formation it help them against cavalry.
I don't no if you can give all Artillery three different tips of shots like the trebuchet but so they can have grapeshot from kingdoms as well would be cool and the Mortar should get exploding ammo, you can also re skin the Ribault into a volley-gun for the north
just a few suggestions don't kill me if you already did them, you guys have don a great job so far
and if you need art work for new units I recommend this book ( Don Troiani's - Regiments & Uniforms of the Civil War ) - ISBN 0-8117-0520-X
we've soon add the grapeshot for artillery.
I've tested schiltrom formation for line units, but they fire only in one direction, not all around. So this formation would only be interessting for the melee.

Shiltron imo would be a mistake. A firearm with a bayonet =/= a pike or spear. Although the CSA toyed with the idea of a pike regiment and actually manufactered pikes, there never any pike units actually fielded. The firepower of a company pretty much eliminated the cavalry charge, and it was rare for cavalry units to engage in sabre/pistol fighting (CSA cavalry especially eschewed the use of the sabre). Cavalry in the civil war was mostly screening, cavalry on cavalry, raiding, and as mobile infantry.
"Every idea is an incitement. It offers itself for belief and if believed it is acted on unless some other belief outweighs it or some failure of energy stifles the movement at its birth. The only difference between the expression of an opinion and an incitement in the narrower sense is the speaker's enthusiasm for the result. Eloquence may set fire to reason." -Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.
Glad to here about the grapeshot and the schiltrom formation was only because the Infantry units can't form a square in Med-II

"I find your lack of faith...disturbing" -DV
The units look GREAT Glad to see the 54th Mass is in ,what other unique regiments are in the game
For now we only work on generic units, the special and unique regiments will be in a special patch.
So will this be on a campaign map also?

Yes there will be a playable campaign but later...So will this be on a campaign map also?
A screenshoot
All the black's infantry have the same texture. There a two models : a milice and a line infantry. In great campain, they will be recrutable only after September 1862 (Emancipation Proclamation)
Milice => Light infantry recruitable in South occuped States by Union's Player
Infantry => Line infantry recruitable only in north's States
