huzzah!
We all die, its just a matter of how.... and when
-William Wallace
That's pretty impressive - especially if you look at the top 3 which have been going since the beginning of time (or feel that way anyway!)
Congratulations for the 4th place!
btw: 1st - Counter Strike. SURPRISE!
Omnomnom
Faction mostly humans -
6-7 Human Factions
2 Elvish Factions
1 Dwarven Faction
4 Orcish Factions
Yeh, sound about right. But saying that the other races make their way in there is unaccurate because half of the factions aren't human. And two of the human factions are evil!
Wow there's some old classics in that list, it really is impressive that tatw would be counted among them. Of course there's a lot of mods out there and actually a lot of them are really, really good so I imagine that such a list has to be at least partly subjective but still...
Congratulations TATW Team keep up the great work![]()
get in there
"some people say the iraq war is unnessasary, however i disagree its good practise in case one comes along that we need to fight, just in case the germans have another go"-AL MURRAY
"us british our world war champions of the world"-AL MURRAY
Wow, that's amazing! Kind of funny that I was able to guess top three.![]()
Wooo!
Congratulations Guys
Congrads all![]()
I KNOW MY NAME IS supposed TO BE MISPELLED
Please leave your name if you give me rep, so I can rep you back thanks
I must be missing something, its just a personal list of favs, its not based on a magazine poll, or number of Mod downloads etc,( FFH2 for Civ has over 400k of dowlnloads and provided its creator with job opourtunity to devope a stand alone producthttp://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1), just a list of his 10 fav mods.

Not al all, just surprised that an online review, by someone not an employe of the magazine, who posted an online review of his top 10 PC mods, is the cause for such exitement, it has the same authority as any of the 000s of such my top 10 lists to be found in magazines or online, it has no backing from the magazine, who neither endorse it or support it, any more than amazon edorses customer evaluations of products.
If you look at the website, its full of users pages in the same veinhttp://www.nowgamer.com/features/961/lbp2-is-the-best-ps3-game-yet
Or his recent postings onl;ine

Haveing a party is fine, just make sure your celebrating for suffiencent cause, joininga site, and posting your own 10 ten list or a review, is not, for me.http://www.nowgamer.com/reviews/pc-m...er-reviews#new allows me to put TATW onto the net at the site as the worst mod in the world, cause fora wake?, of course not.

I'm gonna argue here that you are completely clueless, there is a clear distinction from user reviews and featured articles and reviews. First of all you can clearly see that the articles have a patronized look with images and excerpts.
The other article you posted a link is clearly not from a random user, you can check the guys mini resumeHe is a news editor, this is his profession, he writes articles for magazines that get featured in the website.News Editor of Play, previously of 360 and there was some Nintendo thrown in there at some...
And the other links just show that the author of the list is usually in charge of making top lists.
If you want to defend your point of view you have to produce facts, like top lists made by other users with the same appearance as the featured article.
Look at his profile, he is a general forum member not staff of anywheretc, his review is as a user review.
Thats not from the review of the 10 ten mods, a news editor is staff, and those reviers bio make clear they are news editor, of whatever employer, this reviwer bio who you cite makes clear he is staff of an employer.http://ps3.nowgamer.com/people/361/jon@360The other article you posted a link is clearly not from a random user, you can check the guys mini resume He is a news editor, this is his profession, he writes articles for magazines that get featured in the website.
Why not post the reviwers bio in question?, because it shows that he is simply posting a review of a game he just bought seems to be the answer, as staff of anywhere is not on his bio, unlike staff reviwerts for other products.
I did do as you suggest, he like any one else, and there are 00s of such reviews, as anyone can do them, and i linked to where anyone can do this, and no he is not a news editor, and not an employee, he is just a member, doing what every member can do, post a review online.
No, thats incorrect, as his bio makes clear, member for 3 months and 3/4 games reviewed on the day of relaese, as does the list of his other posts, and abscence of any previews etc.And the other links just show that the author of the list is usually in charge of making top lists.
Adams bio
"Having very little sunshine in 'the North' meant Adam spent the majority of his childhood indoors hunched over with any number of video games. Nothing's changed today, except now he has to buy the games himself."
He only reviews games after they are realased, and has had to buy them. Clearly you are refering to some other person.
I did that, now who is without a clue?, btw is that any langauge fora mod to be using?, especialywhen the facts are not in your favour at all.If you want to defend your point of view you have to produce facts, like top lists made by other users with the same appearance as the featured article.
Heres the same website, review of Empire TW,http://pc-mmo.nowgamer.com/reviews/p...pire-total-war giving ita a 10 out of 10, did CA havea party after that review or admit to haveing under achieved?.
Lastly i jst read adams ( reviwer in question) review of CIV V, he ranks it at 9.7, i got a refund instead i was so shocked at its content.

Do you even use the website Nowgamer? Do you understand the network it sits in? I considerably doubt it.
The feature was listed on the very frontpage of Nowgamer - that's how I noticed it first of all. Now do you really think they would put some user's personal feelings on their front page? Nowgamer is a hub of websites and magazines - and therefore they use features from all of their sources.
"NowGamer.com goes beyond the news to present in-depth, intelligent and though-provoking feature articles on every aspect of gaming today. The site also has exclusive access to the features archives of both games™ and Retro Gamer magazines, so you’re never short of something to read."
It certainly does have the backing of Nowgamer - it is one of their features - NOT the user as you describe him. Only Nowgamer staff can list the features there
So stop slagging off the authenticity of the post and just enjoy TATW eh? Well done again team![]()
