    One issue lots of people have is that Uruk-hai are too weak, so maybe you can change that as well?

    Yeah i have put a ton of work into it and i'm still balancing everything out by playing campaigns and scaling battles evenly to make sure a 251 orc squad with altered stats doesn't destroy a unit of 150 men with ease. In my opinion most of the factions should have evenly matched forces, it should just be the tactics used in battle that make the difference. Though it is fun to have elite units tear though spear men!

    I have gotten a bunch of mail regarding what i have done and what people would like to see and it's interesting but those people should not be afraid to just post on the board, stop sending me mail haha!

    Sounds all well and good. A little something I've done to make the OotMM more enjoyable, and something I'm sure others will enjoy as well as make a great addition to this would be to remove the spearwall from OotMM's heavy goblin halberd unit and increase it's speed. As of right now, it's horribly slow and really doesn't have a place in an aggressive horde faction. Just a suggestion of course.

    Also, by "morale shock" I assume you mean giving these units either the frighten_foot or frighten_mounted attribute? If so, that's quite the buff for basic infantry, something to keep in mind while balancing everything.

    Clearly has his priorities straight.

    As for morale shock i more meant the effects of flaming arrows or artillery on the unit. When morale is shocked the enemy is routed faster. That is what i was told and have been testing so far. Though i could be delirious.

    I'm also glad you brought up formations and special abilities as many units have had theirs altered to better suit their factions. Units that didn't have special abilities now have them where needed to better equip armies that sorely lack in certain areas. Many new changes that you will probably really enjoy especially for Orc factions as they fight in a more "unique" way.

    Could you perhaps consider Major Sub Mods like FROME, so that your changes is compatible.

    My suggestion is to make Good Elite units exist at beginning of the game and non-recruitable, perhaps 2 hitpoints and when they are gone they ARE GONE, this adds much more strategy to the use of these "PRECIOUS" units and sticks to lore.

    Yes, and as a matter of fact everything i do will always be for the current versions of TATW and in accordance with FROME. I appreciate their dedication to bring the game closer to the lore of the books. Everything i do will be compatible with their mods.

    To tell you the truth 2 hit points really doesn't go far, especially when you use those units in more than a few battles. What i have done and i have not announced is adding dismounted Numenorians back into the game as a recruitable unit. These units will be powerful and if used correctly can change the tide of a battle, kind of like cavalry. The drawback of those units would be recruiting them in a high number is just not possible as Numenorians units have been pretty much extinct in middle earth for a huge amount of time.
    However to better answer your question i have already implemented a similar change where the replenish rate is much lower for those elite units. I wouldn't want to completely say goodbye to them though because everyone know they have had at least ONE total screw up and lost a brutal amount of troops to a dumb mistake. *GUILTY* I can go on forever about this topic and the changes i have made and that isn't a good thing so i will cut myself short here!

    I have also got a ton of response regarding the mod so i will be reposting it as an actual release mod under a new title that will be easy to find and such. If you do have trouble finding it (when i post it after midterms this week) i will add the link here in this thread.

    Great to hear. I'll await with bated breath to test it all...

    EDIT: One thing I would like to see are changes to the snaga stalkers formation. If you can change that into more of a scattered fray rather than an organised box formation....like an unorganized rabble, they are slaves after all not a disciplined unit.

    EDIT: I agree with the orc/snaga receiving the impetuous trait...

    @yobi_uk:

    The one thing i think the TA team missed was the horde formation and the units that would be most suited for them to use. The horde formation suggests just what it sounds like, a mob of units in no particular order. MANY of the updated/balanced units utilize this horde formation, and to be quite frank its actually better combat-wise in some situations as a horde, especially for high unit sizes.

    I share your sentiments, if I knew how to implement it I would do it myself, but alas I don't want to muck up my EDU. I'm not too familiar with it.
