Help unable to start

Hi guys i'm after a little help, i have downloaded and installled RS II as per the instructions, but when i get through the Faction selection screen the game starts, i get the initial Roma Surrectum II Screen then the game CDT with the following message:

Script error in data/data/descr-battle-map-lighting-and-fog-control.txt, at line 7, column 1, expecting reading 'min-light-intensity'

I'm using XP, non Steam.

can anyone help?

i've been trying to get this to work since Sunday, i've tried to get it to work on two seperate computers, and at least ten complete install/unstall game, i nearly at the stage where i am going to take a hammer to my computer.

If any more info is required from me to help you, let me know.

Try installing the RSII files in a empty file on desktop then moving then to RTW file and overwriting old files.That should fix it.

that didn't work, tried it several times.

is there anymore suggestions, I just really want to play this MOD.

If that didnt work try redownloading all of the files again and then reinstall it may be a corrupt download.

If your problem is not solved and you have not downloaded the new files shall I give my descr-battle-map-lighting-and-fog-control.txt file to you??? Just place it in the appropriate folder..K...If you wish..Just tell me....
