ATI 5870 or Nvidia GTX 460 ?

HD5870 if using only a single one but if the guy is willing to SLI GTX460 then he should buy it instead, as scaling is much better in Nvidia Cards.

Does ATI support stereoscopic 3D?

I voted Nvidia GTX 460, it has the Physx do-dar and I just feel its the better card. I also like how they are supporting the new stereoscopic 3D and using their leverage with game developers to push it forwards. Don't know how involved ATI are in the 3D stuff.

Physx is just a exaggerated feature i have seen it with my own eyes in Batman AA and Recent Mafia II. There is only a very small difference and for that Nvidia doesn't gets an edge imo.

They are not comparable products. Though they are both good for their price range. In a 1:1 comparison the 5870 is much better.

Well at what res? GTX 460 is like say... the GTX 275-280 from the last gen. So it should max out Nap:TW but if you pile on the AA and stuff, it may struggle.
