Though the change of engine was time ago, I didn't want to forget the Total War community, which has followed the development of Hiridia: Winds of Apocalipse.
Hiridia WoA encountered a certain amount of problems, specially involving the campaign map. And I was basicly working alone. But at the same time I was developing an experiment for Mount and Blade Warband. Some time afterwards Hereje convinced me to focus on the MaB mod, as it was looking fanthastic. He was totally right, I had more experience and contacts in MaB, so I started serious work on the mod.
After learning its basic codding the mod started to take form and progress was really quick, and could unveil it no more than 2 weeks after with a great amount of material.
But then it got even better, reaching number 9 on the mod listing at Mod DB, and gathering a good team. An amazing music maker, 2 good modellers and a good lot of contributors and helpers made the mod grew better.
6 cool factions, totally new bandits, tons of new items and equipment, unique locations and new features never seen before in MaB, like caverns and dungeons, just like The Elder Scrolls.
With all this the player won't only be able to follow the path of the War boss everybody knows (gathering an army and conquering) but will also experience a lot of new options for solo play, and an enhanced 1st and 3rd person view. We already have potions, and magic is on the works.
But I should better show you the presentation teaser, which was unleashed when the mod was unveiled at Taleworlds and Mod DB:
Apart from this I would like to thank all the people who followed Hiridia Winds of Apocalypse, and those who helped with it. Specially Taro, Davidecool and Gigantus.
Track Hirida Ungovernable Lands on its mod DB page, and stay tunned to all the news, previews and media we are adding:
