I have one question, is here is somebody who still plays 5.1 ?
This maybe looks louhtly but i love it.
Some time ago , i saied to myself,ok it is time to chek out 6.1, then com't 6.2 and 6.3 but i just understood that 5.1 is my favorite version of SS is there is some one else who play it?

I dont realy know, that was my second version that i played of SS , maybe it is becouse in 6.** versions dont have america,what can be conquered, i dont realy like the kwarezm and kypchaks, yes i like the skins in 6.1 version but in 5.1 they are good enought, maybe something else.

I never played 5.1 but I started with 6.1, I quite liked it.. then I liked 6.2 even more but sadly I can't say the same thing for 6.3, I just couldn't like it, I played only 20 turns then I switched back to good ol' 6.2. It's just more suits my taste, and more I'm comfortable with that.

only ever played 6.3 and love it so never back tacked versions, whats different about 5.1 that is so good all I can find is a thread which seems like the map is closer to vanillas. I have read alot of people who prefer 6.2 but since I haven't had any issues with 6.3 I never tried that either.

atm, ppl say 6.2 is better, only because they haven't gotten used to the new version...

as for 5.1 being better for having americas, well every 1 has his own taste, i never miss america in ss, if i feel like it, i'll look a mod for americas only or play kingdoms america

It seems to me that most people agree that 6.3 is the best, especially after I and Bane and a few others worked out most of the bugs.

I see 6.3 as an improved version of 5.1 (which is better than 6.1 or 6.2), but I miss the problem that different religions caused in 5.1 - it's too easy to convert populations in 6.3, which is the only 'flaw' I've found as yet.

i am indeed concerned that the bishop recruitment, its far too easy, but on the other hand, priest will just convert to heretic before being any good, and it is realistic as it is...
