Since this is a political themed movie, I posted this topic here. I thought it was really good, kinda jumpy though. This may win some oscars and it has been well reviewed. Who has seen it and what do you think of the film?

idiot for the review, he is not an idiot for being a Christian, he is an idiot for being a hard right, ignorant of other ideas, or the truth, Christian. Idiots believe that the American way or the capitalist way is the true Christian way. This reviewer believes that you should do what your told and play along with everything the country does.

The films main criticsm is that it is hard to follow, but the style of the movie is also one of its greatest praises. Ebert gave the movie 4 stars and liked the style of the movie.

no I am open to other ideas, I disagree with the hard left on some issues like Afghanistan or Kosovo actions. Like I said, I call this reviewer an idiot because he makes baseless claim about the movie and even distorts his own religion with his idiotic views. This film makes no mention of Christianity or Israel, as this idiot reviewer claims. I got to hand it to other religious right movie reviewers of this film (plugged in, christian answers), they actually review it in a fair manner. I do think religion distorts truth, is dishonest, and stops people from thinking, but it doesn't mean I despise religious people, I just hate the fascists.

Back on the movie, I wished they intensified some of the scenes a little more, it was kinda too jumpy, and it requires multiple viewings to catch everything. These are fair criticisms of the film, but mostly this movie is getting good reviews.

Are you implying that being anti christian automatically means well informed about Christianity? I hope not because that is far from the truth

As a former Christian, I know the religion quite well and I concentrate on it more because they are the power in this country. Like any religion, they try to fill in the unknowns about life nad people accept it as truth instead of asking questions. It shuts down part of a persons thought process and although religion can drive one to do good, it is used too often for barbaric acts.

Now this is a topic about Syriana, not religion. The religious review was made to be a joke.
