early/late campaign

Which one is better? early or late campaign? is there really a difference?
can someone give me the link to this info? thx!!

I can't remember the start dates but early (surprisingly) takes place earlier than the late campaign. Most factions have more regions and better developed citys aswell as better starting armys. Also you start being able to build better troops and buildigns rather than having to wait like in early. If you want to build your empire up from not much then early is best, if you dont want to wait as long for thigns late is best.

Why's that? I still have the option of playing them in my Late Era campaign. I don't think any factions have been removed in Late Era either. Is it because of the Mongols?

I play them late.

The trick is, be manly, slaughter everything, and know that "Peace" is another word for "Hold on, I gotta reload."

Well, Lithuania is hard in Late, 1-3 turns, i thought omg it's so easy, then came danes, TO spammed troops, novgorod came with 2 stacks, and polish were the finisher. Owned
Byz is also difficult, i'm playing it right now, i went "all in" for taking constantinople, seljuks got nicae, i got sinop and adrianople, and now under siege : Trebizond, Sinop, Cannakale and i'm taking Athens defended by 4 units with my 3 units, i'll need some luck, just lost Durrazo. That's some action, it's great!

Yeah..i wept when i saw the Byzantines in Late Era for the first time. All of their best settlements owned by massive Greek rebel stacks...poor Byzantines.

That's weird. I could have sworn there were no CS in Late Campaign. Either it's because of RR/RC, or I'm wrong.

In RR/RC (I have played even the latest Beta), I play them still in Late.
