What Factions have you Vassilized in your campaign and how?

As title. I vassilized the malikate of sindh as the imamate of oman, we fought a long, bloody war where we both lost about 4-5 stacks over kolachee and uttam but in the end I had them both but then saw that they had sent another 2 full stacks to attack me. So I got my diplomat(7-8 influence) and asked them to be my vassals in return for kolachee and uttam and saravan and 3000 florins. To my surprise they agreed(they had 10 regions) and they were super rich so I got a lot of money from them. I've realized that it is easier to vassilize factions in BC than Vanilla. How about everyone else?

I'm playing as the Ghorids and I made Sindh a vassal as well. I was at war with them and they were down to a single town but had about 3 stacks of troops defending it. It really wasn't worth fighting a huge battle for this cruddy little town so I sent my diplomat and offered them around 20000 to become vassals. I know it's a huge sum but I was rich since I had taken the rest of India, but I was still surprised when they accepted.

When I played for Makuria, I had Solanki Rajputs and Malikate of Sindh as vassals. I had a war against them and they still have one (Solanki) and two (Sindh) provinces. Then I sent ambassador to them with demanding to be vassals and the threat of war, they agreed on the first try.

You have to protect them i.e. go to war on any faction that they go to war with and they and you have military access and an alliance. Also for protecting them you recieve half the floring they get in a turn, every turn. Really helps your wars and financial problems if you have a wealthy vassal.
