Default How to kill a character?

What can I do if I want to increase characters' chance of death?

character_death_chance_turn_end effect doesn't work at all, even when I make it ridiculously high, so traits that are supposed to act via this don't do anything. (this also explains why Spanish king lives so long - he's supposed to have huge chance of death per turn, but this code is broken or disabled, so he lives till 1740s or so).

Any suggestions, with lua or db editing?

I donīt know if this is of much help, but a work-around that i remember using a long time ago is to set the age of the king of spain to 99, so he would die in 1 or 2 years at most.

It looks like 100 is the maximun age a cahracter can have, so the moment he passes that age, he died. Here is tutorial explaining how to modify the age and other things, if you are interested.

Also here is a link to the edited esf i made

I also remember that when playing as Morocco the king had some illness, and iirc it did make him more likely to die. I mean i have no proof that he died because of that, but i do remember him dieing a lot in the early game. Maybe that trait is working correctly.

I hope it was of some help, even if it is not exactly what you asked for.
