    Default Naval invasions in BI = RTW1.3

    Now i'm not an exceptionally great modder, but I was looking thru the text files in my newly reinstalled BI campaign. And in this perticular file 'descr_sm_factions.txt' there is a value called prefers_naval_invasions which is set to no for every faction but the ones who have to invade across the sea to get thier victory requirements such as the saxons. I went into the RTW files and edited the Scipii and Brutii to have a 'yes' there and have run several campaigns for the first cupple turns (40 or so) and autocalced every battle for some speed. The romans expanded into greece and carthage very rapidly and built thier own empires seperate from my julii.

    Has anyone else noticed this? Or is this just luck on my part

    Just luck on your part. The patch is fixing the problem with the AI not using ships -- nothing to do with the factions.txt settings.
